Choose your rides

  Arrowtown to Queenstown via Millbrook

• 28 km direct back to Queenstown
• 3 hours estimated ride time. Allow more for stops, photos and extra loops. 
• Lakes, Rivers, Mountain Views, Arrowtown, Cafe’s, Breweries… 

 

Head out on a scenic 25 minute drive to Arrowtown. Be fitted to your bike, given trail tips, a map and safety briefing then depart on your independent adventure ride.

Make your way from Arrowtown through Millbrook Resort towards Lake Hayes. The standard route takes you directly over Slope Hill Road and onwards to the Old Shotover Bridge, however, fit riders may enjoy lapping Lake Hayes en route. From the Old Shotover Bridge follow the Shotover and then Kawaru Rivers until you reach Frankton Beach. The trail then follows the lake edge into Queenstown.

 

  Arrowtown to Queenstown via Arrow River Trail

• 33 km direct back to Queenstown
• 3.30 hours estimated ride time. Allow more for stops, photos and extra loops. 
• Lakes, Rivers, Mountain Views, Arrowtown, Cafe’s, Breweries… 

 

Shuttle to Arrowtown. Be fitted to your bike, given trail tips, a map and safety briefing then depart on your independent adventure ride.

Explore Arrowtown and grab a coffee before setting off to ride at your leisure along the Arrow River Bridges Trail toward Morven Ferry Intersection, from here either take a diversion to the Kawarau Bungy (5 km out and 5km back) or follow the Twin Rivers Trail along the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and onward to Queenstown.

 

    Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley

• 15 km to Gibbston Valley Winery
• 1.5 hours estimated ride time. Allow more for stops, photos and extra loops. 
 River gorges, suspension bridges, Bungy and a winery or two.

 

Again, this one starts with shuttle transport to historic Arrowtown.

Ride along the Arrow River Trail to the impressive Kawarau Bungy Bridge. Proceed into the Gibbston Wine Valley, making your way to a designated winery from which you will be shuttled back to Queenstown. The Gibbston Valley is packed with amazing venues. There are 7 wineries, a cheesery, a micro brewery, and a tavern. Visit as many of these as you can and make your day a “Bike The Wineries” day.

 

  Jacks Point to Queenstown

• 25 km 
• 3 hours estimated ride time. Allow more for stops, photos and extra loops. 
• A more technical and challenging trail to start, followed by easy riding into town.

 

Shuttle with us to Jack’s Point and then ride the shores of Lake Wakatipu into Queenstown. Enjoy the stunning scenery, the cafe stops on the way and the purpose built cycle trail.

Queenstown to Gibbston

• 33 km to Gibbston Valley Winery
• 3.30 hours estimated ride time. Allow more for stops, photos and extra loops. 
 Lakes, river gorges, suspension bridges, Bungy and a winery or two.

 

From the shores of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown Bay follow the Twin Rivers Trail along the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers. Make your way into the Gibbston Wine Valley and experience the wine and cheese on offer, content that you have earned your reward. Relax in our shuttle as we transport you back to Queenstown after your ride.

Shuttles must be booked more than 12hrs in advance.

This pass entitles you to 3 days of bike hire and on those days a maximum of two shuttles. You choose when. No expiry.
