Why ride with an E-bike?

  • Confidence to get out there and tackle the hills with ease
  • Keep up with more experienced bike riders
  • Ride further, faster, with less effort
  • The freedom to choose how hard you want your ride to be

Below is a quick video explaining how to get the most out of your E-biking experience:

Where can I collect the E-bike?

Select the date and quantity of riders on this page. Then on the day simply collect your E-Bike(s) from our shop at 3 Searle Lane, Queenstown.

Where can I ride?

From our shop in the centre of Queenstown, the bike trail follows the shoreline of Lake Whakatipu. A quick loop around the scenic Queenstown Gardens and you’ll join onto the Frankton Track. This smooth flowing trail will take you out to Frankton Beach, passing a few coffee spots and even a brewery. From here the trail splits: either looping back around to the spectacular Kelvin Peninsula, or along the Kawarau River to the wider trail network beyond. Our team can give a few tips for destinations when you collect your E-bike.

But the key to unlocking the finest sections of the Queenstown Trail is getting a shuttle. We have packaged together E-bike hire with shuttle transport to allow you to experience the Queenstown Trail at its best, the gold-standard of bike trails in New Zealand. Check out those options here.

What time do I have to return the E-bike?

Our shop closes at 5 PM daily. Please make sure you think about this when booking, as you may want to start earlier to maximise your hire time.

Looking to hire an E-Bike for multiple-days?
