Riding with a family is a great day out!

We have plenty of biking options to help make your day as easy as possible.

For the kids we have 16″, 20″, or 24″ Mountain Bikes available for hire. For infants we have Child Trailers or Half-Bikes/Tag-Alongs. We highly recommend the combo of a Child Trailer being towed by an Electric Mountain Bike. They’re stable and safe, and can fit two small infants (<20kg) or one infant (<40kg).

If you’re family is looking to explore more of the Queenstown Trail, the Arrowtown to Gibbston self-guided ride is an excellent option. It’s around 15kms of amazing mountain biking scenery and an achievable adventure for families. Another option is the Beach To Bay, which includes a short shuttle ride and gives your family a great one-way riding adventure.

If you wish to take the pressure off, take a look at the Bike The Bridges. This bike tour includes a support driver, so if the kids get tired, or if navigation is a concern, your driver is there to ensure your day is as relaxed as possible.

All of our mountain bikes are perfectly suited for riding on the Queenstown Trail network. Each bike has been carefully selected using our decades of experience riding around the Wakatipu Basin.

Most of the fleet is made up of the Merida Big range. We also have cruiser-style bikes, Scott bikes for the kids (16″, 20″, or 24″ wheels), and trailers or half-bikes for infants.

All of our bikes are maintained and serviced in-house by our experienced team.

Please note our bikes are all front suspension, so not suitable for technical downhill MTB trails (such as the Skyline Gondola or 7 Mile)
