Day 1 : Queenstown to Arrowtown (35km / 4hrs) 

Check in to our shop at 9.30am. After a detailed briefing and careful bike fitting you’re ready to depart at your leisure.

Follow the the stunning Frankton Track and warm into the riding, as you make your way to Arrowtown. Ride the banks of the Shotover and Kawarau Rivers and experience grand views of the Wakatipu Basin and the mountains towering above. Enjoy the experience of transporting yourself to your nights accommodation in quaint and historic gold mining Arrowtown. Enjoy one of the many dining options before a restful nights sleep.

Day 2 : Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley (25km / 2+hrs) 

Depart your Arrowtown accommodation at your leisure. Spend the morning in Arrowtown, or leave early and maximise your time at the 7+ wineries available in the Gibbston Valley.

Bike along the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau Rivers to the Historic Kawarau Suspension Bridge – home of the famous Kawarau Bungy jump. Finish with a short ride through the Gibbston Wine Valley and enjoy relaxed wine tastings before settling into your pre arranged Gibbston accommodation. Another satisfying evening awaits with some truely special dining options available in the valley… whether you decide to stay at Kinross Cottages, Gibbston Valley Winery or another of the quaint accommodation options.

Day 3 : Jacks Point to Queenstown (25km / 3+hrs) 

Pick up from your Gibbston Accommodation at 10.30am. Arrive at Jacks Point at 11am.

The following morning has a relaxed start. We will collect you at 10.30am, load your bikes and then deliver you to Jacks Point. There are options here to enjoy breakfast or coffee if you have slept in. Otherwise make your way directly onto the trail and ride back to Queenstown. This section of riding starts off hilly, hugging the cliff on the edge of the lake. The reward is the stunning views across the water to Queenstown. Once you reach the Kelvin Heights section, the trail becomes much easier and you can enjoy completing this final leg of your journey, arriving back in Queenstown after seeing the best of the Wakatipu Basin.

You are responsible for booking your accommodation for this tour.

There are many excellent choices of accommodation in Queenstown, Arrowtown and in the Gibbston Valley. Choose a venue that suits your needs and desired budget. During the Christmas and New Year period Queenstown is extremely busy. If you want to ride during this time, make sure you lock in your accommodation well in advance.
