Meet us in Arrow-town | ~ 15 km | Scenic River Trail | Return Shuttle Only |
Ride Information
Meet our driver in historic Arrowtown (keep an eye out for our white and blue shuttle vans with a bike trailer in tow). We’ll get you set up with everything you need, including the bike and helmet, a briefing on the ride, and a trail map.
The ride follows the Arrow River for 15 kms of spectacular riverside riding. You’ll cross over six bridges, including the world-famous Kawarau Bungy Bridge, and experience some classic central Otago landscapes. The trail continues into the Gibbston Wine Valley, where you can make your way to a designated cellar door with time to sample the wine. We’ll collect you from there for your shuttle back to Arrowtown.
See twice as much of the trail by riding one way and shuttling back!
Electric Bikes Are Recommended
We are yet to hear anyone say “I wish I never upgraded to an electric bike”, but we have certainly heard the opposite! Guarantee the good times, keep your group together and have a fun day out there. E bikes are a game changer and make this ride so much more fun!
Other Options
There’s more time to explore the Gibbston Wine Valley with this full day ride.
Alternatively, if you’re based in Queenstown, check out the Arrowtown To Gibbston Valley ride, which includes return shuttles.
